From consultation to cash, before the next patient.
Nelvo listens to the consultation, drafts the clinical note, the GP letter and a plain-English summary for your patient, and prices the invoice from your own fee schedule and insurer tariffs. You read, edit and approve.
- The clinician approves every word
- Patient data encrypted at rest
- EU speech processing, audio not kept

Dear Dr Patel, thank you for referring Mrs Hartley…
New patient consultation£200.00

Private care in the UK is at record demand. The paperwork grew with it.
The consultation ends. The admin starts.
Today
- Dictation waits for a secretary, and GP letters go out days after the patient was seen.
- Invoices are keyed by hand against each insurer's tariff, and a wrong code comes back weeks later.
- Patients ring to ask what was said, because nobody had time to write it down for them.
With Nelvo
- The GP letter is drafted before the patient leaves the room, ready for you to approve.
- Services are suggested from your own fee schedule and priced from the patient's insurer tariff.
- The patient gets their summary, letter and invoice through a secure link.
Four steps, one sitting
Record
With the patient's consent, record in the browser. Speech is transcribed in the EU and the audio is not kept.
Draft
The clinical note, the GP letter, a patient summary and suggested fee codes, in UK English.
Approve
Edit anything, then approve. Approved documents are locked and every change is audited.
Get paid
Raise a self-pay or insurer invoice priced from your tariffs, and share it with the patient.
Everything a consultant's practice runs on
One system for the diary, the notes, the letters and the invoices — not another add-on to copy data into.
AI consultation notes
Structured notes from the conversation. Nothing is invented: gaps are marked for you to confirm.
GP letters
Addressed to the right GP with the patient's identifiers added by the system, not the model.
Patient portal
A 30-day link opened with the patient's date of birth: summary, letter and invoice.
Tariff-priced invoices
Self-pay and insurer prices per code, so the invoice matches the tariff first time.
Online booking
Patients request a slot from your clinic sessions; your team confirms it.
Forms and consents
Send intake questionnaires and consent forms; answers land in the chart, signed.
AI receptionist
Answers questions and books free slots on your booking page, day and night. No medical advice.
Private prescriptions
Printable private prescriptions with your registration details.
Easy migration
Import your patient list from any CSV. AI maps the columns; you check before anything is saved.
Security by default
Two-factor sign-in for every staff account and encryption of clinical data at rest.
Built for the UK
NHS number checks, UK dates and phone formats, and London time for every clinic session.
Documentation support, not a diagnosis engine
The MHRA has said that tools which only transcribe, summarise, draft letters or suggest codes for a clinician to review are not medical devices. Nelvo stays inside that line.
It never suggests a diagnosis or a treatment, never acts without your approval, and every draft shows where the clinician must confirm a detail.

Less than Semble plus a separate scribe such as Heidi, and no metered AI. Every clinician on the plan gets unlimited transcription, notes, letters and summaries.

Questions practices ask first
Is Nelvo a medical device?
No. It transcribes, summarises, drafts letters and suggests codes for a clinician to review, which the MHRA has said is not a medical device. It does not suggest diagnoses or treatments.
Where does patient data go?
Speech is transcribed by an EU endpoint and the audio is not stored. Clinical text is encrypted at rest, and staff sign in with two-factor authentication.
Do we have to change our whole system?
Nelvo covers the diary, notes, letters and invoices, so you can run the practice on it. Import your patient list from a CSV export of your current system.
Does it work with Bupa, AXA and other insurers?
Yes. Each code can carry a self-pay price and a price per insurer, and invoices use the right one. If you bill through Healthcode, Nelvo exports your insurer claims as a file for Healthcode and reads its status report back; a direct Healthcode connection is not live.
Why is the AI not metered?
Solo is £179 a month and Practice £249 per clinician a month, and both include unlimited transcription, notes, GP letters, summaries and the booking receptionist. Letters, billing, the patient portal and AI come in one plan, for less than a practice system plus a separate scribe. Annual plans cost ten months instead of twelve.
How does billing work?
Start with a 14-day sandbox clinic, no card needed. To keep it, pay by card through Stripe, monthly or yearly (ten months instead of twelve); Stripe adds UK VAT where it applies and you manage the card and invoices yourself. Practices that prefer it can be invoiced by us instead. Every plan includes unlimited clinician AI (transcription and drafts), with no per-consult meter, and you can stop a monthly plan at the end of any month.
How long does it take to start?
A demo on one of your own clinic lists, then set-up of your fee schedule, sessions and patient import. Most of it happens on the first call.
